Hey! You’ve found the official website for Purdue Rationality. We’re a social club for people in West Lafayette who like to talk about rationality, prediction markets, Moloch, Harry Potter fanfiction, world optimization, effective altruism, and becoming  e m b o d i e d.

We host a reading group every Wednesday at 7PM, usually in Stanley Coulter 114, with the goal of being an intellectual third space particularly good for recovering edgelords and the chronically online. Please feel free to come hang out even if you feel awkward about it, are new to the community, not like “the typical rationalists”, not an “IRL meetups” kind of person, worried people won’t like you, are part of TPOT, or have no idea what some of those words are.
